Case Study: Living Free Program - Empowering Youth, Transforming Lives

INTRODUCTION

Living Free Program, an outreach initiative under Adonai Light Bearers, was established in late 2012 with a dedicated vision to impact the lives of young individuals. The program's primary focus centered on addressing critical issues such as rejection, addiction, depression, and hopelessness, while also delivering messages of Love, Acceptance, and the transformative power of restoration. Additionally, the program delved into thought-provoking themes like the nature of sexuality, the origin of suffering, the existence of God, and the reality of spiritual dimensions.

 

EARLY DAYS AND PERSEVERANCE

At its inception, the team, consisting of only four members led by John and Nimmi, faced a modest turnout of a single delegate. However, the profound sense of mission and purpose propelled them to persevere. In the subsequent months, Living Free witnessed steady growth, with over 450 enthusiastic youth participating in the sessions every year. The program's reach expanded to various settings, including school campuses, colleges, rehabilitation centres, offices, and places of worship. The team has since burgeoned from its humble beginnings to a devoted group of 20 volunteer members, and their impact has transcended geographical boundaries.

LIVING FREE HAS BEEN A COMPELLING PLATFORM FOR URBAN OUTREACH AND HELP.

Reach

The program has been functionally successful over the last ten year, reaching over 9,000 young Adults and thousands have been ministered to and connected to the Body. The program is done every month with 20-30 new people participating.

 

ONLINE EXPANSION AND LANGUAGE INCLUSIVITY

 

Language:

In 2020, recognizing the need for accessibility, Living Free was launched in Hindi/Tamil through an online platform, allowing the program to connect with individuals who preferred to communicate in their native language. This expansion further widened the program's reach and ensured that it resonated with a broader audience.

Broad reach:

In the same year, 2021, Online Living Free (English) was launched, with the aim of disseminating the message of restoration to a global audience. This endeavor has witnessed participation from individuals located in diverse corners of the world, including Dubai, Doha, and South Africa, demonstrating the universal appeal of Living Free's message of hope and transformation.
